The troll had posted a photo of Hansal kissing his wife, Safeena Husain, on the lips, attempting to shame him. In response, Hansal defended his public display of affection, stating, "Your trolling won’t work… it’s a man kissing his wife, expressing love publicly. Not pushing a woman, displaying misogyny in public." This incident highlights Hansal's unwillingness to tolerate online negativity, especially when it targets his personal life.
Hansal and Safeena's relationship reached a new milestone in 2022 when they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in San Francisco, California. Safeena, the daughter of the late actor Yusuf Hussain, is a dedicated social worker and the founder of Educate Girls, a non-profit organization aimed at improving girls' education in India. Reflecting on their long journey together, Hansal shared photos from their wedding on social media, captioning them with a heartfelt message: “So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched.
