Hansal Mehta Gets BRUTUALLY Trolled For Sharing A Photo Of Kissing His Wife On Lips, Says 'It's A Man Kissing His Wife'
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta, renowned for his works like "Shahid," "Citylights," "Scam 1992," and "Scoop," recently took a stand against a troll on X (formerly known as Twitter). The troll had posted a photo of Hansal kissing his wife, Safeena Husain, on the lips, attempting to shame him. In response, Hansal defended his public display of affection, stating, "Your trolling won’t work… it’s a man kissing his wife, expressing love publicly. Not pushing a woman, displaying misogyny in public." This incident highlights Hansal's unwillingness to tolerate online negativity, especially when it targets his personal life.

Hansal and Safeena's relationship reached a new milestone in 2022 when they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in San Francisco, California. Safeena, the daughter of the late actor Yusuf Hussain, is a dedicated social worker and the founder of Educate Girls, a non-profit organization aimed at improving girls' education in India. Reflecting on their long journey together, Hansal shared photos from their wedding on social media, captioning them with a heartfelt message: “So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched. As always in life this was also impromptu and unplanned. Our vows however were truthful and but for this little ceremony they would never have been said. Ultimately love prevails over all else. And it has…” The couple has two daughters, Kimaya and Rehana Mehta, and Hansal has two sons from a previous marriage.

Professionally, Hansal Mehta continues to thrive. He has several upcoming projects, including "The Buckingham Murders" featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and "Dedh Bigha Zameen" with Pratik Gandhi, which is set for release on May 31. Additionally, Hansal recently announced another project, "Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga," based on the book "Sahara: The Untold Story" by Tamal Bandyopadhyay. This new series promises to delve into the intriguing life of Subrata Roy, adding another anticipated title to Hansal’s impressive repertoire.
